About Melville Estate Wines

Melville Hill Estate is a family owned business, situated on two properties just North of Tamworth in the New England Region.

Our sites were specifically chosen for their brown clay soils, a feature of the Cockburn River, which abounds our property, and now produce multiple award winning wines.

Our Vigneron, John Almond, is one of the most experienced Vignerons in New South Wales with 35 years of industry experience. John was involved in the team that produced the first Australian wine to win international awards such as the London Wine Show and the Californian Wine Show, plus many others.

Melville Hill Estate has been awarded 30 medals in the past 12 months and is certain to improve on this number throughout 2006.

Melville Hill Estate is situated on two properties found in close proximity of the New England Highway running just north of Tamworth, New South Wales.
